mindtweak asked:
I have started a weight-training program and want to know how to best balance it with my Cardio program. I was doing 90 min cardio 6 days a week. Now i do weight training 4 days a week and wonder how much cardio I should do.
With the weight training i am working on a more defined body, not much bulking up. With Cardio i am still working on some annoying belly/mid section fat, but am otherwise very lean.
How much cardio should i keep doing?
My Weight-training is mon, tues, thur, fri.

How can I learn proper weight training with dumbbshells? Or can I build muscles any other way w/o trainer?

I don’t have the machines and I don’t want to pay membership for gym because it costs too much. Is weight training necessary to build muscles? Or can I focus on a sport? And which would be best? Swimming seems interesting.. My goal is just to have a toned body and to correct my posture.

I’m a 44 year old man and I work out regularly at a gym about 5 days/week. My routine consists of weight training followed by running on a treadmill. I feel like my training has hit a plateau over the last 2 months. What is a good alternative to weight training and running that might help to shake things up and shock my body out of this plateau state?
