I used to get on the treadmill 2-3 times a day but about a little over a month ago I quit going on the treadmill and exercising all together.

I used to get on the treadmill 2-3 times a day but about a little over a month ago I quit going on the treadmill and exercising all together.
Is it too soon to get back on the treadmill or did my body get used to and remember the treadmill exercise routine and I can’t lose weight by doing that anymore?
I did interval workouts back then too.
Will I still lose weight?
How much exercise should I do during Phase I of the South Beach Diet?

I want to buy either a treadmill or a glider to exercise on and I am not sure what one I want more. The treadmill I have heard is worse for your joints, plus I don’t really like to run on them (not yet anyway) and the gilders seems like it would work good, but I can’t fold it up and put it away like I can a treadmill.
