How important is weight training with legs?

I currently am in the gym 4-5 days per week, I alternate days of lifting different groups… I naturally have large legs and thighs, but am trying to lose wieght all over, but since I dont want my legs to get any bigger, i dont weight train them, just cardio every day 30-40 mins. Do you know if it would benefit my weight loss goals if I started weight training my legs as well instead of just doing cardio because i dont want them to get any bigger? 23/male here

For you have skinny legs you have the same problem unless you in end anyway it is better for legs you have the same problem unless.
